Changing life styles, marital problems, parent-child relationships, employment difficulties and other personal adjustments can be addressed by Family Services' trained staff. Their competent, confidential counseling services for individuals, groups and families emphasize Jewish philosophy and values. Clients of all faiths are charged on a sliding scale of income.
Supportive services include resettlement to Jewish immigrants, volunteer services, home visits to the elderly or disabled and an appropriate referral network. The Tampa Jewish Community Food Bank provides those in need with a weekly package of food through ongoing contributions and donations of the Jewish community.

The Rabbi Kenneth and Aviva Berger Jewish Community High School (BJCHS) was established in 1987 and is funded in part by the Tampa Jewish Federation. The program provides an opportunity for Jewish teenagers to further their religious education and strengthen their Jewish identity. In 1989 the school was renamed in memory of Rabbi Kenneth Berger and his wife Aviva, beloved leaders in the Tampa Jewish community. At BJCHS, a variety of innovative courses have been developed which allow students to enhance their understanding of their heritage in an environment that encourages interaction and personal growth.
The Berger Jewish Community High School is open to all Jewish teenagers in grades 8 through 12 regardless of synagogue affiliation. The students and teachers bring a diversity of Jewish background and practices to the school.
